Sukatan Cara Kuno

SEKIRANYA anda sedang berada di luar rumah kerana piknik atau berkhemah di mana-mana dan anda hendak mengadun atau menghidangkan makanan, tetapi anda tidak ada cawan untuk menyukat atau alat timbang, anda boleh buat anggaran menggunakan sukatan berikut:

1/2 cawan buah-buahan segar = 7 gumpalan kecil kapas
1 cawan buah-buahan yang dipotong = 1 penumbuk tangan
25 gram keju = 1 ibu jari
1 cawan aiskrim = sebiji bola lisut
2 sudu makan mentega kacang = 1 biji bola pingpong
1 sudu teh mentega kacang = 1 ketak jari
1 cawan salad sayur-sayuran = 1 penumbuk tangan
1 cawan kentang rebus, nasi atau pasta rebus = 1 bola tenis atau 1 senduk (scoop) aiskrim
1/2 cawan nasi = 1 cawan kertas kek
1 sudu teh mentega = 1/2 ibu jari
75 gram isi ayam yang dimasak = satu paha ayam
2 sudu makan cecair = cecair yang ditakung dalam tapak tangan
25 gram kentang goreng = satu genggam tangan

Tepung
1/4 cup = 30gm
1/2 cup = 60gm
1 cup = 125gm
6 3/4 cups = 1kg (1000gm)

Gula atau Mentega
1/4 cup = 60gm
1/2 cup = 125gm
1 cup = 250gm

Cecair
1/4 cup = 50ml
1/2 cup = 125ml
3/4 cup = 180ml
1 cup = 250ml
4 cups (1 quart) = 1 Liter
